Camblesforth Open Gardens

Camblesforth Church are organising their annual Open Gardens event for Saturday 25th July 2009.

There will be resident's gardens open to visitors, a produce show and competition at the chapel on Brigg Lane and a range of events in the grounds of the village school including North Yorkshire Fire Service and Police offering safety advice and information,a tombolla and refreshments. Unfortunately Selby4Youth who were going to attend with their bus have had to cancel.

The Camblesforth Plan questionnaire showed a lot of support for an annual village event. At the moment the plan group are busy drawing up the plan brochure and so are just assisting the church with their annual Open Gardens event. Next year, the plan group hoped to organise another Village Fun Day in addition to the church's event.
